Growing food, naturally.

We’re tapping into years of research and decades of family farming expertise to grow five acres of regeneratively certified kale and beets in Northern California. We’ll deliver straight from the farm.

A regenerative approach

  • Cover cropping

In between harvests, we seed cover crops to help build healthier soils that better absorb heavy rain, resist erosion, improve water-holding capacity, and sequester carbon in winter months.

  • Chemical-free pest management

We employ integrated pest management (IPM) techniques, such as beneficial insects and companion planting, to eliminate the need for synthetic pesticides.

  • EM™

Effective Microorganisms™ is a microbial we use to promote healthy soil. Soils typically recover after 7-10 years of regenerative farming using conventional practices. With EM, soils can regenerate in as little as three years.

  • Low till

Using alternative equipment, we work the land in a lower intensity way and preserve the soil structure, helping prevent erosion, increase water retention, and keep carbon in the soil.

  • Compost

By applying compost, we build up soil health and available nutrients to minimize the need for fertilizer inputs over time.

  • Mulching

We disk the cover crop and allow it to dry out. The resulting mulch helps conserve and extend available water, protects the soil from erosion, suppresses weeds, and moderates temperatures.
